At Springfield, birthdays are celebrated in a thoughtful Montessori tradition that honors your child's unique journey. During circle time, the "Birthday Mat" is placed in the center, featuring a symbolic sun and twelve months surrounding it. The child walks around the sun, stopping at each birth month as the teacher shares stories and photos from that year.
